About

I am a female programmer who is very independent and will work hard to fulfill your companies IT needs.

I grew up in a family that didn't talk about college. However, in the 6th grade I remember telling my typing teacher I wanted to be a computer programmer when asked what we wanted to be when we grew up. I had no clue then of course what that was. But thought my second semester when I was asked what major I wanted since I started as general studies, I would go with that dream.
I started college 3 months after my mother past away from a massive heart attack I was 21. I figured GOD was trying to tell me life is short to go for it. Being a single mother of a 4 year old and loosing my mom two months before I turned 21. Then a month after we lost my mom my dad developed a brain tumor. It was benign however did cause dementia later on. You would think why or how would I try but quitting isn't something I understand I am a fighter. And with the push from my fiance who always told me how smart I was.
I went on to college while working full time at Perdue Farms and raising a daughter. I graduated 4 years later with honors and a GPA of 3.63 cum laude. We loved camping, fishing and anything outdoors when I wasn't working or in class.
After working 7 years at the same University I graduated from I choose the hardest thing ever, to move on. I went to CAG to work for Texas A&M(supporting 3 campuses) mainly for Ellucian Degreeworks support. I choose this so I could work from home and spend more time with my child and father. I lost my father this year which was very hard however with his dementia was also a relief to know he is with GOD now.
Since my daughter is a senior and graduates in May time to focus on my career and bachelors degree. No matter where I go in life I will fight to learn and grow everyday that GOD gives me.
My contract with CAG ended in August of this year and I have never been on unemployment. So again I figure either GOD is giving me another challenge. So if you choose me, I will work with ever ounce of myself to achieve your companies goals.
