A developer with years of experience, I am always looking to continue to expand my knowledge and experience with new challenges.

I enjoy working with computers. I started out in IT fresh out of high school and have worked in some computer field, be it as an administrator, repair tech or programmer ever since.

I settled into software development in '05 as my preferred computer field around the same time as I got my Bachelors in Computer Science. During my college courses, I had found the real world experience from my prior work had made me the go to person for my fellow classmates on helping to explain concepts that the instructors were not getting across. During this time I found I enjoyed helping explain the technologies I know to others, and still take on the opportunity to teach.

Since focusing on software development I have transitioned from Desktop Applications to Web Development. The systems I have worked on have been Manufacturing based systems that were used across dozens of plants to a web based application used by hundreds of clients for creating reservations. On every system I have worked with I have had to be knowledgeable in all levels of the system from front end, to the database, and many cases the hardware the systems were running on.

Due to the years of experience I have worked with many different technologies. In some instances I have been part of the migration from older to newer technologies and have needed to overcome the challenges involved with such migrations.

In an effort to keep my knowledge up to date I continue to investigate new technologies as a hobby.
