Work Terms

1. BUSINESS HOURS: Mon-Fri, 8 AM–5 PM CST
2. COMMUNICATION & PROJECT ALIGNMENT
• RESPONSE TIME: Within 24 business hours
• PLATFORM: Guru’s tools are used for all communication
• INTRO MEETING: Prior to finalizing a Work Agreement, to ensure project alignment, I require a 10–15 min video/audio meeting
• PROJECT RECORD: All development is based on the Work Agreement and the clarifications/approvals documented in Workroom (see Sec 4 for handling of Change Orders/Revisions)
3. SAFEPAY & MILESTONES–Guru SafePay is exclusively used
• FIXED-PRICE: Work begins once the milestone is fully funded
• HOURLY: Minimum SafePay balance (1 week of "Max Hours") required to secure work and enable AutoPay
4. UAT & REVISIONS–I utilize an iterative UAT process
• UAT: During development, I provide locked workbooks for UAT to ensure source code is protected
• IN-SCOPE REVISIONS: 2 minor revisions (aesthetics, labels, variables) are allowed during the UAT phase
• CHANGE ORDERS: New features, or structural logic changes requested after work begins, require a separate milestone
• APPROVAL: UAT approval signifies the file meets all functional requirements
5.DELIVERY & VALIDATION
• VALIDATION PHASE: To ensure logic integrity, I deliver a functional, locked version for validation
o VALIDATION PHASE ENDS upon payment release OR 7 days–whichever comes first
o RUNS PARALLEL with Guru 7-Day AutoPay Grace Period
• INTEGRITY GUARANTEE: Locking the file during validation ensures any bugs are logic-based, not caused by user modification
• RESET PROTOCOL: If a functional bug is found, I will fix it and re-issue the invoice to restart validation window
6. Unlocked File & Privacy
• OWNERSHIP: Upon payment release, I provide means to completely unlock file and 100% ownership of file is client's
• PRIVACY: I treat all client data as proprietary and sign NDAs as needed
• RETAINED RIGHTS: I retain the right to reuse my Excel-based formulas, logic, and all other Excel-based methods
