My name is Calin Radu and I graduated from Bucharest National University of Arts, with a BA Fine Arts Degree. I’m a young freelance illustrator, artist and self-taught designer, based in Bucharest, Romania.
I’ve been in an artistic environment since I started first grade and during the years I’ve been through different artistic changes. Lately I started to get away from the traditional media and work more in the digital field.
In each artwork, I push my boundaries by exploring new creative grounds: I am continually studying and researching new creative approaches.
I try to develop my skills in many areas and learn something new every day. I’m self-taught and very competitive by nature, always trying to evolve. I like to experiment and I’m always open for the new. It doesn’t always go well but I like to learn from my mistakes and make it twice as good next time. Even though I’m very serious and hard-working, I’m not a caveman. I like to have a good social life. You can’t always work hard and be creative without a dose of fun, right?
