About

A team builder & manager with a special love for back-end tech and live operations such as billing, community, customer service, metrics, and social systems

I started my career at Sony Computer Entertainment America working on the PlayStation product line and have over a decade in the video games industry and project management. Over the years I've had the privilege to work on some great IPs including Marvel, Kung Fu Panda, and even Star Wars.

The greatest reward I get from my job is when my team(s) are happy and feel empowered to do their jobs. To do that I have to make sure my products are on-schedule and on-budget and that the business leaders are happy with the project. When this balance is maintained people are effective and efficient. They can focus more on their work and less on distractions.

While I've had plenty of opportunity to work on in-development products, I enjoy the last few months of development and the first few months of live operations the most. The challenges that go into preparing a product for the first customers are unique and vary with each product.
