Hi, I’m Confidence Obinna-Nwakanma, an HR and Recruitment Specialist with a deep belief that the right people in the right roles can transform any organisation.

My journey started with a background in Medical Laboratory Science, but I soon discovered my passion wasn't just in systems, it was in people. I pivoted into HR and haven’t looked back since. Over the years, I’ve helped startups, growing businesses, and global teams streamline their hiring, onboard better, and build stronger internal communication, all with empathy and structure at the heart of it.

From sourcing top-notch tech talent across platforms like LinkedIn and Upwork to writing job descriptions that attract not just skills but soul-aligned candidates, I’ve done it all. I handle the full recruitment cycle, from identifying needs with hiring managers to conducting initial interviews, scheduling stakeholder calls, and ensuring every candidate has a great experience.

Work Terms

Availability:
I am available for both short-term and long-term projects. My typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM EST, with flexibility to accommodate urgent needs or time zone differences.

Communication:
I maintain regular communication through Guru, or messaging platforms like Slack or Zoom. I provide updates as agreed (daily/weekly) and ensure responsiveness within 24 hours during workdays.

Project Scope & Deliverables:
Clear scopes and milestones will be defined at the start of the project. I deliver high-quality, timely work with attention to detail and professionalism. Revisions are included based on initial agreements to ensure client satisfaction.

Payment Terms:

I prefer using SafePay for all projects to ensure a secure and transparent payment process.

Hourly projects: Minimum of 20 hours/week. Time tracked using Guru’s WorkRoom tracker or via agreed-upon reporting.

Fixed-price projects: Broken into clearly defined milestones with milestone-based payments.

Invoices will be submitted promptly after milestone completion or on a weekly basis (for hourly contracts).

Revisions & Support:
I offer 1–2 rounds of revisions for each deliverable, depending on the project scope. Support is available post-delivery to ensure smooth implementation and transition.

Confidentiality:
I take client confidentiality seriously and am open to signing NDAs. Your data, business information, and recruitment processes remain private and protected.

Collaboration Tools:
I am experienced with Asana, Trello, Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and ATS platforms like Gusto, ADP, Jazz HR, Recruiterflow, Breezy, Workable, or Greenhouse. I can also adapt to any internal systems you use.
