I am an American who has been living in Japan for 4 years. I originally started as a Front-End web developer, but then I found a love for design. Graphic design, to be specific. After being laid off, that allowed me to hone and develop my skills in graphic design. After being mentored and designing fake brands, I have decided to give freelancing a go.
