About

JapaneseEnglish translator/interpreter located in Tokyo

After graduating from a Japanese language and culture major in Venice university (2008) I have moved to Japan-Tokyo to work and learn the language better.
I have since worked in English conversation classes and an all-Japanese travel agency (2011-2016).

Working in an environment with only Japanese nationals as colleagues helped me learn the language, naturally, but also about Japanese work ethics and business culture. I believe that the greatest skill I have acquired is how to translate from Japanese to English (and vice versa) in the most suitable way to express the intended meaning in both languages, something that can be quite challenging between Japanese and western languages.

I am presently a full-time JapaneseEnglish/Italian freelancer translator and interpreter.

Work Terms

Hours of operation are generally 9 AM - 9 PM (JST), Monday to Friday.
Open to discussion about payment terms.
Preferred methods of communication are e-mail and Skype.
