Based in Portland Oregon USA, I am a senior level electronics engineer with extensive experience in the design of digital & analog circuitry and the development of embedded firmware for various microprocessors / DSPs. I have a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a digital signal processing concentration. As a full-time freelancer, I'm regularly involved in the entire life cycle of a product from the "prototyping of an idea" stage through mass production.
I can assist customers in any of the following areas:
- Digital and analog electronic circuit schematic design, PCB design, test, debug, and integration
- Electronic prototyping and preparation for product commercialization
- Embedded processor firmware design (drivers, application, and DSP algorithms), development, debug, and integration
- Initial project framework (specification writing, structuring, and system design).
In my spare time, I enjoy capturing black & white photographs using vintage medium format film cameras, and exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with my family.
Work Terms
Standard work hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm Pacific Time. I prefer land-line phone calls and electronic communications. Zoom / Skype calls are OK too. Face-to-face meetings are very productive for local clients.
