I delivered a diagnostic-first developmental edit that turns a draft into a plan. Using AI as a tightly guided assistant, I analyzed structure, pacing, POV, character arcs, and trope use, then produced a prioritized fix list. The package also included simulated beta readers (13 personas) with quotes, a cause-and-effect map, continuity checks, and a brief market pack: KDP keywords, categories, back-of-book blurb, and a cover concept cue sheet. All insights were human-led, cross-checked, and grounded in the manuscript (hallucination-guarded workflow). Result: a clear, stepwise revision roadmap.
