Our founder, Karen Huller, spent six years in recruiting learning from her clients what it took to get the offer from companies of various sizes, industries and cultures. She was conflicted in this role, however, because after having a difficult 10-month transition of her own after 9-11, she had to say no to candidates more than she could say yes. In 2006 she started Charésumé (now dba Epic Careering) to help more candidates get the YES. She has helped hundreds of professionals land jobs that fulfill them and pay them what they are worth.
Huller has made a name as a progressive industry thought leader who learned, mastered and taught others how to utilize new technologies and trends to accelerate and optimize careering and hiring. She introduced her firm to Internet recruiting in 2000 and was one of the first LinkedIn trainers in 2003. Now, she is developing a mobile job search game through her other company, JoMo Rising, LLC.
This fall she will start as an Adjunct Professor of Career Management and Professional Development at the internationally renowned LeBow College of Business at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She is a Certified Professional Résumé Writer and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Creative Writing from Ursinus College.
