Comic Artist & Illustrator

I’m Ernesto Reyes, a Spanish illustrator and visual storyteller with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Emily Carr University and a Master’s in Graphic Design from Barreira Art + Design in Spain. My work centers on expressive, narrative-driven illustration across comics, children’s books, and editorial pieces. Whether I’m shaping memorable protagonists, building immersive worlds, or designing impactful covers, I focus on emotional clarity, atmosphere, and visual storytelling that resonates.

Notable projects include my lead artist role on 'Knightress: The MidKnight Hunter' (Revelations Comics), featured work in Ryan Haack’s 'Unspeakable Text' anthology, and full-page illustrations for 'Chins and Elbows and Knees' by Marilyn Browning. My training has prepared me to work confidently across digital and print formats, supported by a strong foundation in composition, color theory, and sequential art.
