I have a postgraduate degree in English Literature. My experience includes working as a proofreader at a local newspaper (English) for a little more than two years, working as an English teacher at a high school, and also transcribing audio/video files for more than a year.

Work Terms
Proofreading: I charge $20/hour (minimum 3 hours) for proofreading. It takes about 30~40 minutes to proofread 1,000 words.
Transcribing: I charge $1.50/minute for my transcription service. However, the charges may go up for partially, bad audio/video files (background noise, distorted, muffled, quiet, etc.).
Translation: I charge $0.15/word for my translation service.
