Software developer with over 20 years designing and building applications, managing teams, integrating data and creating web products. Initially worked on software houses developing Web, ERP, Mobile, Kiosks and Industrial Production Software before embracing a career as a freelancer. Afterwards, as a consultant, designed and implemented Linux and Windows servers, customized terminal system environments and developed software to integrate vendor data on several companies. More recently, built complex tracking solutions for conversion optimization (online and offline conversion tracking with custom reporting for Adwords and Bing campaigns) and to support data integration with some well known advertising networks. Wide experience working with Frameworks and Micro-frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, CakePHP or Slim. Developed several ExpressionEngine plugins for high traffic applications on a multi-server environment (live staging / production and automation on issue tracking). Experience designing manifests for Puppet Enterprise to manage server clusters - with automatic restoring of backups to new locations in case of a node complete failure. I am comfortable on advanced usage of GIT on OSS solutions like Gitlab or plain CLI. In the past, branched Wordpress to customize it for a specific government solution to build a few websites; while I have not been actively working with the source code of the latest versions, I am agile hacking the source and building plugins as needed.
