I’m Felipe, an Architect and BIM Specialist with over 8 years of experience in residential and small commercial projects. I hold a Master’s degree in Construction Project Management, so I understand not only how to design and model, but also how drawings fit into real construction schedules, budgets and coordination on site.

I lead SHAPE, a BIM-focused architecture studio (ShapeStudio pro) that works as a remote extension of architecture and construction teams abroad. We specialize in Autodesk Revit and BIM-based workflows for clients who need clean, consistent and build-ready information without growing their in-house staff.

My main focus areas are Revit drafting and BIM documentation (from schematic design to construction documents), BIM modeling and standards, custom Revit families, and interior/exterior 3D rendering for presentations and marketing. I’m used to working from sketches, PDFs, CAD files or existing Revit models and turning them into organized plans, elevations, sections, details and visuals that other professionals can trust.

I like to work in an agile and lean way: clear scope, fast feedback loops, and honest communication when something needs to be clarified. My goal is always the same—help you move your projects forward with fewer surprises, fewer re-draws, and drawings that are easy to read for both consultants and contractors.

Work Terms

I try to keep collaboration simple and predictable. At the beginning of each project, I like to define scope, deliverables, format and timeline in writing, so everyone knows what to expect. I usually work from sketches, PDFs, CAD files, Revit models and any reference images or standards you already use (title blocks, lineweights, naming conventions, etc.).

I can adapt my communications to any client requested channel, and I’m also open to occasional calls or screen-sharing sessions when it’s more efficient to review models and drawings together. I’m based in Uruguay (GMT-3), which overlaps well with North American and European time zones.

For smaller, well-defined tasks I’m comfortable working on a fixed-price basis. For ongoing work or open-ended support, an hourly or retainer model usually makes more sense. In all cases, I share previews or partial deliveries for review before finalizing, so feedback can be incorporated without surprises at the end.

Revisions are a normal part of the process. I group comments, update the model and drawings accordingly, and can provide marked-up PDFs or short notes explaining how each point was addressed. Final files can be delivered in Revit, DWG, PDF and image formats according to your needs.

All project information and deliverables belong to the client. I may keep internal copies for backup and portfolio purposes, but only with your consent and always avoiding any sensitive data. The goal is to become a reliable, long-term partner you can trust to handle BIM production and visualization while you focus on design, clients and business development.
