About

My mission is helping you find and implement the solution that meets your needs!

I'm an IT/software engineering student from Frankfurt, Germany with experience in setting up and administrating servers and systems since 2012. To fund my studies, expand my skills and set my knowledge to use outside of academic topics, I chose to work on IT projects as a part-time freelance IT consultant/admin/programmer early on. This journey has so far taken me to many interesting projects and people: from the two-person start-up trying to transform an idea into a real-world product, to corporate clients on a schedule in need of support for a fixed period of time.

Work Terms

I'm generally happy to use any form of communcation (though preferredly digital) you feel comfortable with, be it a phone call or a virtual live meeting.
I usually like to make first contact the old-fashiond way by personally talking to my clients, either on the phone or online (e.g. Skype). The same applies when it comes to making important decisions, but for everything else I find email or IM to be more time-efficient.

Being paid by the hour or working on a fixed budget both has its advantages. So usually, choosing which one fits the available time, budget and project together with my clients is an approach that worked very well in the past.

My hours of operation are reasonably flexible: important meetings can be scheduled at nearly any time, but my main working hours usually correspond with daytime in Western Europe. An individual schedule will be one of the things we will set up once we actually start a project.

The only thing I will have to insist on is some form of written summary of the task(s) I'm being hired for to serve as a point of reference for all sides.
