My mission is to help businesses and start-ups find their market, express themselves and conquer hearts and minds of their clients.
I call myself a layout artist and a brand developer as I mostly design brand marks and corporate brand identity but am also experienced in layout design, print and digital (be it a printed poster or digital banner for e.g.). I am currently studying interactive and web design too.
I'm aiming at helping small to medium businesses, local family brands and independent entrepreneurs and other freelancers. I prefer to avoid working with governments and state-funded companies for ethical reasons and with non-profits for professional and worldview reasons (unless personally interested in working, when I seek pro-bono work).
My passion is creating more than just some 'fancy pictures', but a simple yet effective brand identity solution that stands out, reflects values and expresses emotions — and thereby helps to achieve your business goals.
Having no formal design education I hold an equivalent to Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource management that has proven to be helpful in developing a problem-solving thinking (a.k.a. design-thinking) and result-oriented approach. All the rest I've learned from books, real-work experience, and bright people I've met during my life — and I keep on learning all the time.
In my design-free time, I study languages, web-development, storytelling, and history; travel, meet new people and collect myths and legends from all over the world. I wish one day to be creating narrative-based interactive products: adventure games, visual novels, etc., to teach and inspire people the most engaging way.
Work Terms
We can communicate via email, Telegram, Viber, Skype or Hangouts. I prefer text communication to voice for various reasons.
I prefer payment per project (I'm open for time-based payment, though). I like working via freelance services like Guru or UpWork, otherwise — 50% prepay.
I live in St. Petersburg, Russia, at UTC+03:00 time zone, but I mostly live and work by night. I can adjust my timetable to what is suitable to you.
