A passionate and dedicated Spanish Translator
I’m a native Spanish speaker from South America but currently based in the UK. I have over 2 years of experience working as a private Spanish tutor and translator. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Science Communication and I am currently studying a MA in Language, Cultures and Translation. I am a contemporary social communicator with valuable experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, Advertising Campaigns and Graphic Design.
Some of the courses I have taken at university, such as Journalism, Audiovisual Narrative and Copywriting, have developed in me strong compositional and editing skills, as well as an eye for detail. I have helped to create online advertisements, social media posts, scripts for television and radio.
My goal is to deliver an effective, focused and on-target service, that fits my client’s needs and objectives. I am able to offer a different perspective due to my cultural background and experience working and studying abroad. I am creative, reliable and hard-working communicator, who has good initiative and the ability to work independently, as well as, part of a team. In addition, I am fluent in English and Spanish; and beginner in French, having lived in Peru, England, Wales and France.
My time living in Britain has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the English culture and language, both in a formal business setting and in a social environment. I am very passionate about languages and I do every work with my precise attention to detail. As an added value, I understand the subtle differences between your European-targeted and Latin American-targeted Spanish content and I will adapt accordingly to fulfil your specific marketing needs.
Work Terms
I usually prefer to work on a hourly basis, and can commit more than 50+ hours per week.
My usual working hours are from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
