Python & ML Engineer with fintech experience | Fraud detection, data pipelines, and full-stack development | IIT Roorkee graduate

I am a software engineer and machine learning practitioner based
in India, currently working remotely with a London-based fintech
company on production-grade AML fraud detection systems.

My core technical work spans the full data science pipeline - from
feature engineering and clustering to anomaly detection and risk
scoring. I have built multi-rule detection engines, customer risk
classification systems, and data-driven compliance dashboards used
by real financial services clients.

On the engineering side, I work across the stack: Python for ML
and backend pipelines, and JavaScript/Vue.js for frontend
compliance portals. I write clean, documented, tested code that is
production-ready from day one.

I hold a B.Tech from IIT Roorkee (2026), one of India's premier
engineering institutions. My engineering background gives me a
strong grasp of applied mathematics, statistical modeling, and
algorithmic thinking - all of which directly feed into the ML
systems I build.

Technical skills:
- ML: clustering (KMeans, PAM, DBSCAN), anomaly detection
(Isolation Forest, Mahalanobis Distance), dimensionality
reduction (t-SNE, PCA, diffusion maps)
- Backend: Python, REST APIs, ETL pipelines, automated reporting
- Frontend: Vue.js, TypeScript, SCSS
- Data: Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SQL

I am timezone-flexible and work well with UK, EU, and US-based
clients. I communicate clearly, deliver on time, and keep clients
updated throughout a project.

Work Terms

I am available for both fixed-price projects and hourly
engagements. My standard rate is $22/hour with a $150 project
minimum.

For fixed-price work, I operate milestone-based: clear
deliverables defined upfront, delivered incrementally, with
payment requested at each milestone. For hourly work, I log hours
honestly and share progress updates at the end of each session.

COMMUNICATION
I respond within a few hours during IST business hours (GMT+5:30)
and am flexible for calls with UK and US clients outside standard
hours. I prefer Guru messaging for all project discussions to keep
everything on record.

REVISIONS
Reasonable revisions are included in every engagement. I define
"done" clearly at project start to avoid scope creep, and I flag
any scope changes before acting on them.
