In terms of education, I have a B.A. in history and minor in English. I graduated magna cum laude and have two years of private tutoring experience, where I helped college students edit their essays and improve their writing skills.
In college, I won the 2014 Naartjie Multimedia Award for Expository Writing for my essay "Stephen Crane's Maggie: Finding Meaning in Existence" and was selected as a Senior Spring Seminar Presenter for Oustanding Capstone Paper.
I also have experience writing fiction, where I have worked on children's stories while also publishing my own fiction in places like The Esthetic Apostle and Z Publishing House's "Best Emerging Writers" series.
