Work Terms
50% advance, 50% upon approval of final artwork, but before delivery of final artwork files, via Safepay and Paypal.
To keep things simple for everyone, I negotiate all projects as an All Rights Buyout, also known as Work For Hire. Because of this, my rates are higher to compensate for the fact that I can't use that artwork or make any money from it in the future. On the bright side, YOU WILL OWN ALL RIGHTS TO THE ARTWORK, now and in the future, you won't have to pay me royalties, and you won't have to worry about buying additional rights to the artwork, you own it. The ONLY right I reserve is the right to use artwork for portfolio and self-promotional purposes.
I'm very easy to work with, flexible, and dedicated to giving the client what they want, not what I want. I can also help you refine your idea and offer suggestions if your idea is still fuzzy around the edges.
I like to ask a lot of questions up front. This allows me to pinpoint what you want, refine your vision, as well as help to avoid mis-communication throughout the process. This also allows to be able to narrow down the look and feel of what the client is looking for very quickly.
I like to communicate often throughout a project. This keeps the client informed of how things are going, but also allows for the quick correction of direction or mistakes while they're still easy fixes instead of massive changes further down the line.
