Bold stories, built with care—writing, development and mentoring across stage and screen.
Giles Brody is a multidisciplinary creative, writer, director and mentor with over a decade of experience developing original work across theatre, comedy, radio and screen. He holds an MA in Screenwriting from the Huston School of Film & Digital Media and has worked across live performance, broadcast media and animation, with credits including theatre productions at Smock Alley Theatre and Dublin Fringe Festival, writing for RTÉ and international animation, and a range of original comedy and narrative projects.
Giles began his creative career in theatre and comedy, founding and leading creative initiatives that supported emerging performers and writers, and building spaces for new voices and ambitious work. His practice has grown to encompass writing, directing, programming and mentoring, with a particular focus on collaborative development and ensemble-led creation.
Alongside his creative output, Giles has extensive experience mentoring artists, facilitating workshops and supporting young and early-career creatives through writing and performance processes. He has worked with youth arts organisations, comedy societies and professional performers, helping artists develop confidence, refine their voice and realise projects from early ideas to finished work.
Through his company, Giles offers writing, creative development and coaching services for individuals, companies and organisations. He combines academic training with hands-on industry experience, bringing clarity, structure and creative ambition to every project, whether developing a script, shaping a story, or mentoring a writer toward their next draft.Giles Brody is a multidisciplinary creative, writer, director and mentor with over a decade of experience developing original work across theatre, comedy, radio and screen.
