C++ senior with an obsesion with quality.
I started programming in C++ out of curiosity, not because I had a clear career plan. What drew me in was the idea that a small amount of carefully written code could control complex systems. Early in my career, I learned the hard lessons firsthand — debugging memory leaks, undefined behavior, and race conditions that only showed up under real-world load. Many late nights were spent tracing issues back to small decisions that seemed harmless at the time.
Over the years, C++ became less of a language and more of a craft to me. I developed a deep respect for fundamentals: clear ownership, explicit lifetimes, and simple designs that can be reasoned about and maintained. I care a lot about writing systems that age well, where future developers can understand the intent without guesswork or fragile assumptions.
Beyond code, I learned the value of communication, documentation, and taking responsibility for long-term outcomes. I prefer reliability over novelty, substance over hype, and I believe good software reflects the discipline and honesty of the people who build it.
