Bigger or more is not better. Better is better.

After working for two years as a translator and one year in the field of educational philanthropy, I decided to go freelance. Daniel H. Pink’s book Free Agent Nation inspired me a lot. Having been tired of struggling to balance work and life, I now blend them. And being able to take charge of my own life feels awesome.
When you don’t have a permanent job, you treat every job even more carefully and more responsibly, because it’s you who handpick them, and there is nowhere to hide.

I am a native Chinese residing in Shanghai, graduated with a Master’s Degree in Translation Theory and Practice in 2013.
I had worked as a full-time translator for two years, having converted the subtitles of hundreds of documentaries and TV shows from English to Chinese, and also translated other materials of varied contents.

Beautiful languages like Chinese and English fascinate me.
I am also a freelance writer with published articles. I mainly write on the topics like celebrities, books, films, education, etc. so I will take Chinese writing projects.
