Bridging the gap between English and French

A bilingual virtual assistant, translator and interpreter since 2009, native English speaker, fluent in French, living in France since 2001. I'm self-employed, fully registered and insured.

Clients include French and English companies, private individuals, writers, a French university, the gendarmerie (police) and the courts.

Along with helping people with French red tape, I translate everything from personal letters to academic papers. I also do editing, proofreading and rewriting (in English only).

Began my career as a research scientist and have since done sales, customer service and admin, technical support, website building and Photoshop work.

Started as a scientist, now mainly a linguist!

Work Terms

Normal working hours Mon-Fri 9am - 6pm Central European time UTC+1, but flexible and always available in case of emergency.

I ask for milestone payments in advance from new clients but can be flexible if we build an ongoing relationship.
