Work Terms

Payment Terms / Work Flow
A minimum deposit of fifty percent (50%) is required to commence work.
Once the 50% deposit is received by the Designer, basic design concepts will begin. Communication between the Designer and the Client is crucial during this phase to ensure that the ultimate design will match the Client's taste and needs. Upon completion of this stage, the Client will be asked to confirm acceptance for the basic site design via e-mail or by signing a printed copy of the. Once this acceptance is received from the Client, the work necessary to complete the project will begin.
Client should continually view comps and express their preferences or dislikes to the Designer. Upon completion of the web site, an e-mail will be sent to the Client advising the Client that the work has been completed. Final payment of the remaining fifty percent (50%) balance plus any additional charges incurred will be due. Full resolution files will be forwarded to the Client upon payment in full.

Cancellation: Cancellation of the project at the request of the Client must be made by email or in writing prior to 1/3 of work completed. This is determined by number of hours involved at time of cancellation, which is furnished by the Designer in a recapitulation. Only actual hours worked will be charged.

Every job is different, so therefore, I cannot provide estimates unless I know exactly how much work is involved for each unique job. Some are less, some are more. Just think if you asked an architect to design a home. They would need to know how many bedrooms, how many bathrooms, etc. As in graphic design, specific items require certain amount of hours to produce. The more complex, the more hours.
