Solving problems through visual design. Design is an investment its about quality not quantity
My name is Humberto M. Vazquez, I am a well rounded Graphic Designer. I consider myself an artist and designer. I always like to challenge myself and experiment with different mediums. If I were to describe myself in one word it would be versatile as I want and continue to learn every aspect of graphic design such as print media, digital media etc. In this field of work the media is constantly changing as technology gets more advanced and becoming more digital you have to keep up but I still look to the past to improve the present. I believe as many designers do we are problem solvers and we provide solutions through visual designs.
I started drawing mostly self-taught from a young age, every opportunity I had I was always drawing. Imagination is my playground. creativity is everywhere you just have to know where to look. What got me into the field of graphic design is throughout my life especially living in New York City I am always bombarded with advertisements, very clever ones and the bad ones also, but I saw that it had an artistic feel to it.
As I mentioned before, I consider myself a versatile Graphic Designer because I do not just want to specialize in graphic design such as logos, posters, ad campaigns, business cards, either print or digital. I am currently learning to be a Website designer coding in HTML 5 and CSS. I am also learning motion graphics, animation, 3D modeling and animation and also both traditional and digital illustration. I also have an interest in Typography.
Both graphic design and drawing are my passion and I am able to combine both as part of my design process as I brainstorm to create my designs.
