My web development journey began with a deep curiosity about how websites work behind the scenes. I started by learning the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which gave me the foundation to build static web pages. As I grew more confident, I explored frameworks and libraries like React.js and Next.js to create dynamic and interactive applications. Later, I dived into backend development using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, learning how to build full-stack projects and manage databases efficiently. Over time, I developed a passion for creating user-friendly, responsive, and high-performance web applications. Each project I built strengthened my problem-solving skills and taught me the importance of clean, maintainable code. Today, web development is not just a skill for me—it’s a creative journey that allows me to bring ideas to life and continuously evolve with technology.

Work Terms

During this work term, I gained extensive hands-on experience in full-stack web development, working with modern technologies such as Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Mongoose, and Tailwind CSS. My primary focus was building dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly web applications from the ground up. I designed and implemented both the frontend and backend, ensuring seamless integration between the two using RESTful APIs.

On the frontend, I created interactive interfaces using React and Next.js, focusing on performance, accessibility, and clean design principles. On the backend, I developed scalable server-side applications with Express.js, implemented authentication systems using NextAuth, and managed data efficiently through MongoDB. I also worked on deploying production-level projects, handling routing, validation, pagination, and state management with Zustand.

Throughout this term, I improved my problem-solving and debugging skills, learned to follow best coding practices, and strengthened my ability to think critically when designing features. This experience deepened my understanding of how real-world web applications are planned, built, and maintained—transforming me from a learner into a capable full-stack developer ready to contribute to professional projects.
