Having grown up in a small rural town in the middle of nowhere Ohio, I turned to all forms of creative outlet at an early age to keep occupied. A garage band here, a painting or two there, but it was the graphic arts that truly perked my interest. Thanks to the encouragement of an incredible high school art teacher and with a few hundred saved in cow milking money, I enrolled in Kent State University’s Visual Communication Design program. My academia through Kent only strengthened my passion for design and illustration and in 2012 I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts. I enjoy challenging myself–learning new design tools and techniques while experimenting with all sorts of different styles.
I am currently working as a Senior Graphic Designer and running a bass fishing illustration website at anglesandlines.com
