I'm looking for writing opportunities in which we can work together to help further one another's careers!
I do not have any formal writing education beyond a year at university, however I am an avid reader and have been writing for leisure my whole life. I have eight years of customer service experience and am proficient in Photoshop. I spend a lot of my free time reading, and since 2020 I've gotten quite into reviewing as well. I'm very interested in possibly getting into sensitivity reading and social media marketing, as well as things like blog posts and opinion pieces. I am a queer trans man and would love to work with other LGBTQ+ folks and help them be successful with their endeavours! I started off my freelance career just wanting to promote trans writers, and my main focus is still in writing for/about marginalized communities like the LGBTQ+ community and the mental health community, but I am excited to see what kinds of jobs guru sends my way!
Work Terms
I work 32 hours a week shift work, so open communication will be very important so that I take advantage of the three days I have allotted for writing! I feel better doing flat rates based on the amount of work than I do hourly rates, but for now I can negotiate that with each client based on their needs.
