Publishing industry professional focusing on beta reading and developmental editing for fiction books, with a specialty for young adult!

Fiction books are my whole world! I graduated the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a certificate in creative writing, a minor in English, and a certificate in publishing. My main area of focus was fiction in order to really study what makes a book a good book. Since graduation back in 2017, I've used my expertise to help authors reframe their books and provide publishing industry knowledge. From 2018 to 2024, I worked in the acquisitions department of a publishing company where I reviewed manuscripts for publication. I now freelance and own my own bookstore!

Work Terms

For either of my developmental editing listings, I require half due upfront and half due upon completion of the project. Beta reading requires payment at completion.
