About

AI Governance, ESG Advisory & Human Rights Due Diligence

I design systems and operationalize AI governance and ESG frameworks for executives and investors, translating policy into execution to help organizations strengthen governance and oversight in complex operating systems where ESG and human rights risk intersect — supply chains, labor models, technology and public accountability.

AI Governance & Responsible AI
Build AI governance infrastructure aligned to NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, and OECD AI Principles. Engagements include AI system inventory and vendor mapping, risk classification and lifecycle oversight, bias and accountability frameworks, approval workflows, escalation protocols, and board-ready documentation.

ESG Strategy, Regulatory Alignment and Circularity
Develop ESG frameworks and roadmaps aligned to GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD/ESRS, and California's SB 253 and SB 261 — now in effect for FY 2026. Engagements usually include: materiality assessments, goal setting & KPIs, stakeholder engagement, ESG gap assessments, risk management and compliance, data management, annual ESG report development, investor-grade disclosure preparation, and integration of ESG risk into enterprise risk structures using the COSO ERM Framework. Additional circularity advisory, diagnostics and design services are available.

Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD)
Rooted in the UN Guiding Principles (UNGPs) and OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, I align operations to the authoritative international standards for responsible business conduct. This can include mapping risk across your entire value chain, from Tier 1 direct partners to Tier N raw material sourcing; risk assessments; and remediation frameworks that align with mandatory regulations such as EU CSDDD, German LkSG and U.S. UFLPA to provide substantiated evidence to navigate modern import bans, mitigate civil liability and secure long-term investor trust.

ESG Communications and Reputation Management
I develop ESG narratives, stakeholder communications, and disclosure language that accurately reflect governance reality without overstating commitments or creating greenwashing exposure. Work includes annual ESG report writing and editing, investor-facing ESG summaries, board communications and executive messaging. For organizations facing supply chain, human rights or AI scrutiny, I co-create a crisis-adjacent narrative with your team and develop media-ready positioning that holds up under external pressure.

Credentials: Certified in Ethics & AI Governance (LUMSA/UNICRI), Sustainability & ESG - supply chain & reporting focus (Harvard/CSE), and Human Rights & Trafficking Prevention (USIDHR). M.A., Social Entrepreneurship, Pepperdine University. Background includes investment management, NGO leadership, institutional communications and a private capital platform serving UHNW investors & family offices.

Most engagements are remote. I work with two to four clients at a time to ensure focused delivery.

Work Terms

Engagement Structure
I offer three engagement models depending on scope and client need: fixed-price project engagements with defined deliverables and milestones; monthly retainer arrangements for ongoing advisory; and hourly consulting for scoped advisory calls, reviews, or targeted deliverables.

Project-Based Engagements
Most governance work is structured as fixed-price with phased milestones — discovery and diagnostic, framework design, implementation support, and documentation. This gives clients budget certainty and clear deliverables at each stage. Typical timelines range from 4 weeks (diagnostic) to 16 weeks (full governance build). Investor portfolio engagements run 6–18 months.

Retainer Advisory
Monthly retainer arrangements are available for clients who need regular advisory support — board preparation, regulatory monitoring, ongoing ESG or AI governance oversight, and responsive guidance as issues surface. Retainers are structured around a defined monthly scope agreed in advance.

Hourly Advisory
Hourly engagements are available for targeted advisory calls, document review, expert input on specific governance questions, or scoped deliverables that don't warrant a full project structure. Minimum engagement: 2 hours.

Working Style
I work remotely, mostly in U.S. time zones. Engagements begin with a scoping session to confirm objectives, establish deliverables, and agree on timelines before contract execution. I communicate proactively throughout every engagement and provide written summaries following key working sessions.
Availability
I carry two to four active clients at a time. If I am at capacity, I will let you know immediately and provide an expected availability window. I do not take on engagements I cannot deliver with full attention.

Response Time
I respond to new inquiries within 24 hours on business days. For active clients, same-day response during business hours is standard.
