I am currently a freelancer aiming to flourish in the world of design by becoming better personally and in what I do.
I am a Muslim born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. I grew up falling in love with physical art, from drawing cartoon characters to sketching out original comics. Thus, graphic design came to me naturally and I find joy in designing. I also love drawing and listening to music.
In 2017, I started learning HTML and CSS, with focus on making cool transitions and animations - just for design. In 2018 I briefly started graphics design with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and a little bit of video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro. I started learning UI/UX design with Figma in 2020, and had improved a lot more on using Adobe Illustrator. All this was alongside studying Telecommunication Science in the university.
All these experiences together have brought me a long way in my design journey... with no mentor at any point. I have developed myself in the particular aspect of logo and brand identity designs while still learning more design types. Along the line, I have developed methods that enable me bring out the best of my abilities in designs I do.
Work Terms
I am currently available to work for 20-25 hours per week. My preferred means of communication with clients is by email, so as to maintain professionality and for record and access purposes. I also prefer fixed style of payment, so as to avoid unnecessary inconvenience on either side of the transaction.
