Engineer turned project coordinator, building the systems teams actually use.

Hi, I'm Jo! I'm a trained engineer who has worked in project coordination for 4+ years, both as an employee in-house and as a freelancer, starting in architecture and construction management. My day to day involved managing timelines, coordinating with contractors and clients, and keeping documentation organized across multiple projects at once.

Through that work, I picked up Airtable initially as a way to build the monitoring systems my teams needed, since most generic PM tools didn't fit the way design and construction work actually runs. I've since expanded into building similar systems in Notion and setting up lightweight, easy-to-manage CRMs for smaller teams.

These days I help small businesses and teams with two things: project coordination support, and building the systems (Airtable, Notion) that keep a team's work organized without needing constant manual updates. Depending on what a client needs, I can take on one or both.

I'm based in London, and I'm still early on with offering these services on a freelance platform specifically, though the underlying experience comes from several years of real project work.

Work Terms

Availability

My schedule is flexible, and I'm especially set up for short, fast-turnaround sprints, if you need something scoped and delivered quickly, that's where I work best. Just let me know your timeline upfront so I can confirm I can match it.

Payment terms

For shorter projects (up to about a week), I typically work on a fixed price agreed before starting. For longer or larger projects, I switch to hourly billing. Rush turnarounds are priced accordingly.

Communication

I'm happy to communicate via Gmail, Zoom, or WhatsApp, whichever suits you best. For visual planning or mapping out a system together, I typically use Miro, but I'm flexible if you already use something else (Figma/FigJam, for example).
