To put it simply, I like the process of ideation to creation when implemented the right way.

I started my career in marketing (campaign planning and execution) and quickly grew frustrated with the numerous bureaucratic steps involved with the (entire) process i.e. the amount of time and resources it took, miscommunications between designers and the marketing team - with the end result being it could be done better.

Following a kaizen approach, I started to not only design my marketing campaigns from a strategic perspective, but also aesthetically with each format/ channel i.e. brochures, HTML emails so I had a full 360° view over a full campaign - seamless and effective. Our campaigns generated more leads, and ones which were further down the pipeline, thus improving conversion rates.

In my time at my first company (Ampersand+) I designed event banners, HTML emails, brochures, website graphics, presentations for the NHS, and even lead the presentations (Design+Storytelling) for the companies next round of investment - which we successfully won shortly after.

After a successful spell at Ampersand I decided to throw myself out there and become a freelancer where I have designed websites, mobile apps, logos and numerous print materials for start-ups (which you can see in my portfolio).

I am now looking for my next project.
