My name is Jose Alfredo Llerena from Cuenca, Ecuador. I am a Software Engineer and Information Systems Management Master with 14 years of overall IT experience and currently working as a freelance Pentester including coding.
My background includes Infrastructure where I have worked in Server hardening, Event Log, Intrusion Detection, Firewalls, DevOps and regular training in the main Cloud providers like AWS, Azure and GCP. My experience also involves Cyber Security, Databases, QA and Software development.
Course creator and Content Engineer. Academic experience as Professor and researcher. I also like to do volunteering work where I contributed as a teaching assistant for Cybrary online training platform and currently member of Info sec community mentoring and sharing resources for training to people looking to fit in the IT and Cyber security industry.
This last three years I have been working as a Pentester where I get involved in projects such as Web application, mobile, API, internal / external network, security assessment (including Oracle), red team, source code review and reporting. My certification training includes Certified Offensive and Defensive Security Professional (CODSP) and Certified Offensive and Defensive Security Expert (CODSE), OSCP student. I am currently working towards TCM Security Practical Network Penetration Tester (PNPT) certification. I am EC Council CEH Practical certified.
