I am currently a junior at Manchester University where I am completing my Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, Marketing, and Business Management. I am generally put into positions that include writing, online marketing, and event coordination.
Writing: I have over 5 years as an experienced writer on multiple platforms. I have written for non-profits including Volunteen Nation. I interviewed multiple philanthropists and created blogs based on the different projects they were involved in. I also have reported on different local events at my town's newspaper. I covered everything from fairs, town councils, to spelling bees. Finally, I also have experience blogging for for-profit companies like KIMSU Jewelry and Haven Color Bar. I am constantly gaining experience in SEO practices, and what constitutes as engaging content.
Online Marketing: With three years in the online marketing world, I have worked with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Starting at Volunteen Nation, I lead a marketing team to create, present, and implement a marketing plan which included the contacting of 400 different mom blogs for potential partnerships. I later went onto uLEAD inc. to create a marketing plan that included hashtags, videos, online competitions, and post content.
Event Coordination: I have 3-4 years of experience in the event coordination business. At uLEAD inc. I helped test out and facilitate leadership training activities. Then moving into the wedding industry, acting as a wedding coordinator for Cambria Custom Events. I worked with vendors for set-up and tear down time, and facilitate everything from rehearsal dinners, to the receptions, to the tear-down.
