Hi, I'm Kaylee. I am an explorer. I seek adventure and crave answers. As a student, I explored many different degrees, settling for an undergraduate in neuropsychology and postgraduate in Brand Strategy. I wrote my thesis on coffee and sustainable branding.

My exploring then had me pack up my life and move to my second home, South Korea, and build a life teaching English. I climbed sculptures, ate a jellyfish and went paragliding. Solo. Wearing a lion onesie. With a walkie-talkie directing me in broken English. I did the classic, backpack through South East Asia, climbing temples, sleeping in airports and eating a deep fried tarantula.

In 2014, I started my journey exploring the agency life, starting off as an account executive. I did this while couch hopping and living out of my trusty backpack. I explored the deep end of the work pool, and discovered that I could swim. I have worked on some of the biggest brands in Africa, and some amazing international ones too. I have worked on packaging, corporate identities, interior branding, and campaigns. I am a hard worker, team player and strive to learn and grow daily.

2017 marked a time of change in my life. I decided to explore life as a digital nomad and made the world my office. I create thedabblespace.com as a platform aimed at assisting start up companies. I seek opportunities worldwide and ensure that I am always building on my own knowledge and skills.

I am driven by curiosity and exploration. I get excited for brainstorms, and like to claim that I could captain the dork squad when it comes to knowledge on rums. I am passionate about brands, mostly because of the universal human truths that brands use to connect people. I love learning about people, and finding new ways to connect. I like my coffee like Darth Vader’s soul, dark and bitter. I am passionate about gin and wine. I think I could have a love affair with whiskey. I crave travel like most people crave chocolate.

Work Terms

I work remotely, thus keeping my work hours flexible. I use PayPal for all payments, making it easier no matter where you are. I prefer working to deliverables, rather than on an hourly basis. This allows you to know what you will be paying for, and allows me to budget the correct amount of time for each project.
