Dr. Khondokar Kabir is a social scientist with expertise in environmental and agricultural issues, particularly in information disorder within agri-food and natural resource management. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Agriculture and Agricultural Extension Education from Bangladesh Agricultural University and a PhD in Rural Sociology from the University of Hohenheim, Germany. Previously, he was a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Guelph, and he is currently an assistant professor on a limited term at Trent University, though this role is not extensively documented online. His research interests span capacity development, Q-methodology, climate change adaptation, digitization in advisory services, social media, urban agriculture, social learning, and rights-based approaches to development.
