About

I like to work as Remote Technical Support for Web hosting company. I have experience with cpanel based linux servers

I have more than 8 years of experience as Remote Technical Support Rep. on linux based cPanel server. My experience includes

1. troubleshooting issues related to web applications like wordpress, joomla, magento, prestashop, whmcs and few others that are available under softaculous.

2. Helping clients to fix issues related to mails which include mail client configuration, mail server ip blacklisting, email issue due to disk space, email issue due to remote mail server, email issues with wordpress plugin, reviewing mail logs to troubleshoot email issues.

3. Finding spammers and raising tickets with the clients if account is spamming. Providing detailed information about how their account is involved in spamming and how it may affect other clients on the server

4. helping clients with ftp issues by checking ftp settings and/or firewall issues

5. Issues related with domain registration, domain transfer, site not working due to dns propagation or nameserver changes. Guiding clients on how to transfer domain

6. providing backup solutions to clients either using cpanel backup system or suggesting third party backup systems like codeguard.

7. configuring/installing cpanel plugins like jetbackup, cloudflare, patchman, autossl with cpanel or let's encrypt

8. helping clients to get an ssl certificate on their domains

9 helping clients with general issues related to their account on cpanel like upgrading/downgrading account, reviewing resource usage using stats, disk space issues

10. helping client with installation of third party applications or suggesting a solution for an application they want to use, like vps or a dedicated server

11. creating knowledge base articles for internal use and for client's so that they can do common tasks themselves like creating an email/ftp account or database creation

Work Terms

I can work upto 40 or 48 hours a week. I work complicatedly though its a remote work, i.e. I rarely leave my desk when at work. I believe in discipline at work and aim at customer satisfaction when resolving an issue.
