I LOVE data! I work at Procter & Gamble (P&G) as a capital investment manager and data analytics leader. I have built hundreds of highly impactful data visualizations and business dashboards, mostly in Tableau. My data visualizations have been used to generate actionable insights and help in better decision making in a lot of areas - from corporate boardrooms to factory floors.
Some business problems my dashboards have addressed are:
a) Capital investment analysis and forecasting
b) Manufacturing loss elimination and reliability analysis
c) Consumer comments/complaints analysis
d) Supply chain inventory and cost analysis
e) Real-time geospatial visualization of material flow in global supply chains
f) Project management action tracking, scheduling, cost analysis
g) eCommerce Sales & shipment visualization (for P&G's customer teams at Amazon)
My visualizations are simple, clean and fun, so anyone can see and understand complex business data in seconds. I focus a lot on user-friendliness and intuitiveness of the solution. I infuse my dashboards with visual story-telling that fits the business need, so users are drawn-in to adopt the dashboard quickly and get insights easily.
I work with business intelligence platforms like Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server almost daily, for several hours a day. I also teach data visualization skills at work and local communities. So far I have trained 500+ people. I do freelance work for my love of data and design. I am an engineer by education, with bachelors from India's finest technology college - IIT Delhi. I am multilingual and lived in 4 countries. Outside of work I pursue graphic design and app development.
