I am a versatile designer which suits various styles from simplistic to highly detailed. My promise is to put 100% in my work as I have a passion for drawing and designing.
I have a Btech Degree in Textile Design and Technology. I have various skill sets such as Drawing, Editing, Photoshop, Designing, Textile Design, Graphic Design and Fashion Design. Drawing and Designing is very close to my heart as it is my absolute passion and I have excelled in my studies achieving a Cum Laude in Textile Design and Technology in my National Diploma.
Achievements:
I came 2nd in a Steampunk competition in 2015 on Teepublic where I now advertise my T-shirt Designing range.
I was fortunate enough to get sponsored by Samil in 2015 to create a female and male design which was inspired by Steampunk. The female garment includes a mohair leather corset and peplum with a textile print, a skirt made of tulle, diamond crochet fishnet stockings and a crocheted umbrella made of mohair. The male garment includes a mohair leather waist coat with textile print, mohair cloth
pants; mohair crocheted pilot beanie as well as a mohair leather arm piece. My mohair garments stood a chance to enter into the Shanghai competition.
I came 3rd in a House of York Textile Design Competition in 2014 where I designed a Textile Design for a ironing board.
I was fortunate enough to make it to the top 12 in the Free Creative show in 2014 where I made a female skirt inspired by origami as well as male pants with additional accessories. My garments also showcased in the Collective Graduate Fashion Show.
