I am a published writer, a former Ivy League English instructor, and a former editor for a literary magazine. (Now I work as a creative consultant and developmental editor for a web series, and I'm finishing up my own book.) I have years of teaching English and writing under my belt, and have studied the craft of writing at schools such as Stanford, Brown, Cornell, and Harvard.
What does this mean for you?

Work Terms
For developmental editing (editing that requires a lot of creative work, coaching, or workshopping of content), I generally charge a higher rate of 40$ per hour (though that depends on the project). For less intensive editing (say, line-editing or proofreading), I can charge much less. I guarantee speedy turnover if that's needed and an exceptional eye for detail, as well as great advice and feedback for any writer. All editing is digital unless otherwise requested; I communicate through email or other online services.
