I’m a retired teacher and librarian, now working as a freelance copy editor. I enjoy organic gardening, studying, live theatre, and a good game of Scrabble!

My passion for editing and proofreading arose out of a desire to see my family and friends achieve their goals, whether it be compiling that résumé that gets the interview, shaping my students' term papers, or assisting my colleagues with publishing their business websites.

I simply love what I do and genuinely care about my clients, aiming to treat others the way I want to be treated, having their backs and protecting their reputations as writers, publishers, and everyday people needing to present themselves or their work in writing.

English is my mother tongue, and French is my second language. I work with US, UK, or Canadian writing conventions.

Work Terms

I usually work for US$20/hr.
Technical or ESL texts will accrue a surcharge.
Projects are normally marked up with MS Word Tracked Changes.
