IT Engineer | AI Automation, APIs, Python & Website Integration

I am new to Guru, but I bring 25 years of IT engineering experience, including 16 years in securities-industry IT operations. Earlier, I worked in system development in New Zealand (2002–2004) and in IDC data-centre operations (2005–2010). This background gives me both software-development and production-operations perspective.

In my securities-industry work, I have independently supported 13 core business systems and 76 servers, and previously worked with 46 systems, trading-system continuity and resilience, private-cloud operations, and a 12-person technical team.

My practical strengths include:
- Xinchuang migrations for OA, messaging, and portal systems using DM8, KingbaseES, BES/BWS/BCS, and Kylin
- High availability with Keepalived VIP, CMHA, Data Guard, and database replication
- Zabbix 6.0 full-stack monitoring across hosts, ports, processes, applications, databases, middleware, and logs
- Python, Shell, and Ansible automation, including the generation of 65 standardized operations documents
- Databases and middleware including MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Nginx, Tomcat, Redis, Elasticsearch, Nacos, and MinIO
- Obsidian-based asset and operations knowledge management

I help employers with Python automation, APIs and data workflows, website/WordPress integration, monitoring, migrations, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing maintenance. I work from the existing environment, implement testable changes, verify results end to end, protect credentials and sensitive data, and provide a clear handover. Paid iteration and long-term support are welcome. Video production is outside my scope; my focus is software, automation, websites, data, monitoring, and reliable technical operations.

Work Terms

I prefer a clear scope with milestones or an hourly agreement, defined deliverables, and a short feedback cycle. I can begin with a focused onboarding task, review the existing system or workflow, and then continue with maintenance and iterative improvements under separately agreed paid work.

For ongoing support, I can provide up to 40 hours per week as a standard full-time capacity, subject to the agreed schedule, scope, and applicable contract requirements. I respond clearly, keep progress documented, and raise blockers early. I communicate through Guru and the employer's agreed project tools.
