Children's Book illustrator

I started my career back in 2007 as a 2d animator and from there ventured into professional illustration in different genres. Over the years I have become a children's book illustrator and have become my preferred illustration projects, I find it most rewarding, creative and challenging as well.

I work digitally which is my preferred platform although I was trained traditionally but the digital media is much versatile and effective for me to express my creativity and help my clients fulfill their own creative visions. I am more geared towards picture books and stylized types of illustration mostly in digital watercolor style. Although styles can be discussed if needed but the style mentioned above is where I work best.

I use different illustration software depending on the project which can either be in raster format or vector. I primarily use Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity Designer/Photo and Clipstudio Paint and other varied illustration software if needed but the above mentioned are the main programs that I use interchangeably depending on the project.

I've done a lot of illustration projects over the span of my career but illustrating for children are projects that are much more rewarding, creative and challenging as well. It's a wonderful genre/market to thrive and I am very much eager to express my creativity within this field of illustration.

Work Terms

I prefer to work under a fixed price setup rather than an hourly rate as I find it more productive and provides maximum time for the project to reach its full potential.
