Expert translation in Kinyarwanda, English, French, and Kiswahili.
I’m a translator with more than 10 years of experience working in Kinyarwanda, English, French, and Kiswahili. My journey with languages started long before I made it a career—it’s something I’ve always been passionate about. That passion led me to earn a Bachelor's degree in Language Teaching, graduating with honors in English and French.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of translation projects, especially in education and development. I enjoy the challenge of making sure not just the words, but the meaning, tone, and cultural nuances come through clearly in every translation. For me, it’s about helping people understand each other better, no matter what language they speak.
Whether I’m working on training materials, reports, or community outreach content, I always aim to deliver work that’s accurate, thoughtful, and easy to connect with. I take pride in being reliable, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to what I do. Language is a powerful tool—and I’m here to help people use it well.
Work Terms
I usually work in a remote setting and take on freelance projects, but I’m always open to discussing other arrangements depending on the scope and needs of the work. My standard rates are $0.03 per word for translation and $40 per hour for tasks such as editing, consultation, or project coordination. That said, I’m flexible—rates and terms can be adjusted based on the nature and complexity of each project.
