I am a Salvadoran journalist with over 20 years of experience specializing in economics and finance. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across various media platforms, including print, online, and radio, and I’ve had the privilege of leading the economic sections for major Salvadoran newspapers like Diario El Mundo and La Prensa Gráfica. My passion lies in analyzing fiscal policies, financial markets, and economic trends. I’ve had the opportunity to enhance my expertise through specialized training programs in Washington, Brussels, and Buenos Aires.
I am part of the Inter-American Press Association (IAPA), where I dedicate my efforts to developing projects that support media outlets at risk in Latin America. This work allows me to address challenges such as persecution, displacement, and threats to press freedom, areas that I deeply care about. Defending freedom of expression and empowering journalists under challenging circumstances has been a cornerstone of my mission in this role.
Over the years, my dedication to journalism has been recognized with national and international accolades, of which I am truly humbled. My journey has always been about blending my passion for storytelling with a commitment to supporting free and responsible journalism. I remain steadfast in my efforts to contribute positively to this vital field.
