Work Terms

As a Developer based in Cameroon (West Africa Time - WAT, GMT+1), I maintain a schedule designed to offer good overlap with major international markets (Europe and North America).
Detail Specification
Working Hours 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM WAT (GMT+1), Monday - Friday.
Meeting Availability Highly flexible for clients in EST/PST, with pre-scheduled calls available up to 8:00 PM WAT
Commitment I commit to a minimum of 30 billable hours per week on active engagements.
Response Time I guarantee a response to all urgent messages within 4 hours during Core Working Hours.

Payment Terms

I offer flexible payment structures to suit the scope and duration of your project.

Hourly Rate: My standard rate is $20 USD/hour. This rate is competitive and reflects my expertise and location advantage.

Invoicing: Invoices are submitted weekly via Guru SafePay for all hours logged and verified.

Fixed Price Projects: This requires a detailed, signed Scope of Work (SOW) document. Any changes outside the defined SOW will require a formal Change Request and may adjust the final price.

Initiation: A minimum of 30% of the total budget is required as the first milestone payment to commence work.

Payment Method: All payments are processed securely through Guru SafePay to ensure protection for both parties.

Preferred Communication Style

Primary Channel: Guru Messenger will be used for all daily tasks, quick questions, and official correspondence. I encourage direct, clear, and professional written communication.

Status Updates: You will receive a daily brief summary of progress, tasks completed, and any blockers at the end of the day (EOD WAT). A detailed progress report is sent at the end of each work week.

Meetings: We will use Zoom or Google Meet for kick-offs, major reviews, and troubleshooting sessions. Meetings should be focused, agenda-driven, and time-boxed.
