My name is Marivi Joy Cuevas, I am currently an ESL Teacher for Chinese students as well as a college and senior high school student here in STI College Dagupan. As a teacher I have a passion in teaching as well as a never-ending drive to learn new knowledge from the areas that I want to improve my skills in. It is a high regard for me to deliver excellent service to the stakeholder of my services. In the position as a program head I was trained to create weekly reports of activities and budgeting for the program. I can say that one of my strong points is that I’m very keen on details and can also work with a team and individually. My special task in this position is to create events for the whole school aside from providing exceptional learning experience to my students.
Prior to my teaching career I had 3 years of experience in BPO companies, where my communication skill shined and I was able to utilize my PR to the client and customers. Managing billing accounts from their telco service was one of them and because technology nowadays is so fast we needed to cater to the changing needs of our customers. I also experienced being a billing consultant, which by the way was the most challenging account for me since most of the customers had disputes from their bills so I need to discuss the charges to them.
Being in the center of customer experience I was able to see how every client needs different understanding but the bottom line is it’s the experience that is what they will be remembering after each transaction. Details are very important; they are the backbone of communication. I always have this drive to be remembered as a provider who can deliver unforgettable customer service to and for my client.
